Onion River RISO print studio is run by me, Elizabeth von Oehsen. I’m an illustrator, designer, and printmaker based in Burlington, Vermont. I illustrate and design my own RISO prints, which you can purchase in my SHOP. I can also RISO print your designs, which you can submit in the COMMISSION page.

INK COLORS

Onion River RISO print studio currently has 5 RISO ink colors: Fluorescent Pink, Yellow, Mint, Lake, and Black. I can mix endless colors using different opacities of these wonderful hues.

WHAT IS RISO?

Risography (aka RISO) is printing with a RISO printer - which operates like an automated screen printing process. The machine can print only one color at a time, and each print is slightly different.
